My playing experience
I have played in high school wind ensemble and Jazz big band. I have also played in a number of chambers combos and orchestras.
My main inspirations
I've listened to all the greats Louis Armstrong ,Dizzy Gillespie ,Miles Davis ,Wynton Marsalis ,Thomas Rolfs ,and Esteban Batallán but I never really felt a connection to my instrument till I read Miles Davis's autobiography he talks about the jazz scene and how playing shaped him as a person and made him who he was.
